FoG beginners tournament at the ACTION 27th to 28th february 2010
At this year's ACTION (27th to 28th february) in Rheindahlen we offer a small scaled FoG tournament that is especially dedicated to beginners.

Of course, experienced players are welcome too.

Considering the surrounding wargaming show with a wide range of demo and participation games and the focus of the tournament on FoG beginners, we defined the following tournament rules and schedule:

We play a total of 3 games, with 2:45h game time each. The game will stop at the end of the melee phase of the current round. Two games will take place on saturday, starting 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The third game will take place on sunday, starting 10:00 a.m.
For players wishing to stay only on saturday or to use the sunday for other games we give the option not to play the last game (in which case the sunday game will be scored with 0 points for the tournament results). Since the tournament starts late on saturday we hope that everyone still has the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the activities offered at the ACTION.

Build your army using not more than 600 points, using any of the army lists in the published books, including the Lost Scrolls. Since probably not all beginners own a completely painted army, we accept unpainted figures as long as the basing is correct.

Table size will be 1.80m x 1.20m, the movement unit will be 1 MU = 1 Inch.

Beside your 15mm figures please bring dice, measuring tapes or sticks and terrain pieces. If you do not have terrain pieces, a small collection can be lend from the tournament organization, but do not expect a large range.
If you can bring your own battle mat, please do so and tell us when you register for the tournament.

The event will take place in the rooms of the Rheindahlen Wargames Club at Reading Way 10 on the area of the Joint Head Quarters Rheindahlen.
Important notice: Since this is a military site you will be controlled at the entrance. Please have readily available your valid identity card or passport.

I tried but the interested friend does work that WE and Nathan , my son, is going to another tournament in brussels ( not FOG ) .
