Archers in Impact phase

Post by guthroth »

Hi

A clarification please -

An undisrupted BG of 9 bases is in three ranks with LF archers in the third.

Assuming they are charged by a cavalry BG of 6 bases in two ranks, how many dice do I get for the archers ?

Assuming all three files are contacted at impact, you would get 2 dice for the LF archers. This is 3 dice losing 1 per 2 for LF.

Three bases of light foot = 3 dice
Lose 1 dice per 2 and you end up with 2 dice.

Overhead shooting uses the number of dice based on the impact phase, not the shooting phase.
