Caparisons are the way! They could make for saucy Greeks, Spaniards, etc.

Mirliton Dilemma

Post by spikemesq »

I want to paint these sexy figures. But which knights to use presents a puzzle.

I have the supporting (i.e., non-Knight) lead for Latin Greeks. I also have various Medieval figures for early Western (Crusades, etc.) and later Eastern (Late Hungarians).

I could buy some Knights for the Latin Greeks. These would come from the Communal/Crusades selection. I could also repurpose my current Knights to flesh this army out though.

The later Spanish lists (Castille, Aragon, Santa Claus) and/or German lists are pretty hawt too. Would the Condotta range work well for these? Or are the Spaniards a little behind the times, such that the cloth caparison figures are more appropriate?

Basically, my paths diverge on the Knights and Crossbowmen for later Spanish/Germans.

Spike

The waffler.
