1.06 patch not installing

hi, i've got the 1.04 version installed on my PC. downloaded the 1.06 patch and want to install it. i'm getting the following error msg: 'this is an add on installer. the directory you have selected doesn't contain the target application. pls choose another one.'
the game is installed on d:\program files\anuman interactive\ commander - europe at war. i gave this path but same error msg.
any suggestion?

Can you check you have the correct patch - you need the annuman version.

thanks for the quick follow up. in fact after browsing thru the forums on CEAW i realized i was quite obsolete with a 1.04 and even a 1.06 version. so i upgraded to 1.12 which seems to work fine. i am even thinking of moving to the gold version now! what a progress...
