Am I wrong, but it seems that in FOG a flank attack is the same as a front attack : there is no special penalty for the defenser.

I believe there is a + POA listed for attacking from the flank listed in the help. From the help it sounds like this should only apply if a BG is also being attacked from another side (or else the BG is supposed to face the attacker according to the help) but I haven't verified this in watching the details display during play.

The only flank PoA appears to be in Melee combat only, against a BG that is unable to turn and face it's attacker.
