Lucky dip voucher - Like jackpot in the lottery...

Just got the Slitherine newsletter with the new "lucky dip voucher". Tried at the slitherine-shop and ...tada... got a 0,30 USD discount. If this is intended as a joke, it is a poor one...

The vouchers have a variety of discounts 1%, 3%, 10%, 25%, 50% and for a lucky few 100%!

I guess it was not your lucky day!

I have no problem with winning nothing - but a discount of 0,30 USD is kind of bad joke indeed.

Just some things I noticed, since the new site when I login, by default in my account the newsletter is disabled. When I try to turn it on and press edit info, I try in my account to say Yes I want to receive a newsletter, and press edit, nothing changes. In the account my option stays, No I do not want to receive a newsletter.

Also after logging in the flash banner with the game discs is no longer visible.

Can these be a bugs?

I already checked my spamfilter and there is nothing there from you guys. Also, all the other newsletters I got from you guys just appeared into my inbox. Perhaps the new site thingy changed some things? Seems weird as well, since according to my id preferences I am accapting both your newsletter as well as the pbem messeges.

s there anyway I would still be able to get it?

And aside from me and Examinondas did anyone else NOT get the latest newsletter?

Possibly but the bug was related to the proces of changing your setting so unless you had it off and turned it on recently then it should have been fine. If you send a mail to fin@slitherine.co.uk with the problem mentioned I'll look up your email address and check if you were mailed by the sytem.

However, I'm more concerned about not getting the newsletter as it should have been...

I have also not found any setting in my forum profile for the newsletter, could someone please tell me exactly where to found it?

We tried sending the newsletter as html this time so we will revert to pure text next time. Maybe that was the issue.

It is a new system so there could also be bugs in it...

If you are happy for me to try Surtur & Examonidus then I could use the system to resend with html and without and you can tell me if you get either?

Have you sent anything? I have got nothing...

However, just last week I had to reset my forum password and got the email from "noreply@slitherine.com" without problems.
