reinstall problem

Hi,

When I installed the latest patch 1.03 the game stateted to crash. I have reinstalled but now get the following error message

NullPointerException

I am running XP on a Dell XPS M1710

Can you tell us when exactly it crashes?

Hi ,

The error screen appears just after the slitherine logo ends

Did it run on in 1.02?

Can you try downloading and reinstalling the patch.

Hi , tried 1.02 patch still same problem should i statrt from scratch again

If you had it working at some point it looks like something has become corryupt. A reinstall from scratch might solve it.

I downloaded from original order. The same issue arises . I have not installed any patches .

Can you post more detailed specs (video card etc).

Have you updated any system drivers recently?

intel (R) core (TM) 2 CPU
nVidia GeForce GO 7950 GTX graphics card

i have not updated drivers for a while

I have the game working fine on my vista machine but still have the original problem on my XP machine. any ideas

Hi,

If it works on Vista but not XP any information unique to the XP system would be useful:-

Which version of XP
32 or 64 bit
RAM
Hard drive space available
Are you accepting all the default installation options?
Have you run all the suggested Microsoft Windows updates for hardware and software.
Have you installed all the latest drivers from the Dell support site for your model, in particular graphics driver and bios version?
