Roman, Cathaginian, Greek buildings in 10mm

Post by broeders »

We're currently playing 'Rise of Rome' and need a couple of BUA's - so we're trying to find manufacturers of Roman-ish buildings for 10mm.

Any ideas where to go - we're OK if we want a basic 'Arab' style building, but there's nothing I can find that can meet the Roman or Greek requirements.

Same I suppose would go for Gallic as well.

Anyone know of any manufacturers - OR if we could get away with 15mm?

Thanks.

If you are willing to use paper buidlings you could use the "Roman Seas" buildings and rescale them for 10mm or you might contact Hotz and ask if he would provide them in 10mm scale.

I was on a similar quest recently to find greek buildings for 15mm, and was shocked to find that while I can get WW2 terrain from probably 20 different manufacturers noone is producing a comprehensive set of ancient buildings apart from the odd tatched cottage.

I ended up making the buildings myself using foamcore with good results. Took me about two days to make enough buildings for a small town. I just got my order for textured paint yesterday so I can post some pictures when the're painted and done.

Look forward to that - I'm amazed that with the popularity of FOG Ancients, no-one has built a range.
