Weird multiplayer game

I'm playing Tucinus as the Punics and upon opening the game it replayed my last movement and it was my turn again. My opponent never got to move. When I went to take my move, no one could move although they could shoot and fight.

The same thing happened to me in a replay of Pharsalus today.

Sometimes you can close the game and re-open it and it will work. But not this time.

I was the other player in the Pharsalus battle, I have viewed opponents turns and closed the game before playing my turn without a problem but not this time. My turn was sent without completing combats or movements. Does stopping the replay before it finishes trigger this?
