XTML Editor

Can anyone recommend a good XTML editor to use to edit the game-fixed file? Doing edits with only a text editor is more tedious than editing unit values while in the scenario editor. I have tried using a package called Edit-X. But for some reason this package is extremely slow and not practical to use with these game files.

Is it possible that in a future release you can copy and paste units AFTER you change values? Medieval 2 by Incredible Simulations lets you do this and it is a god send. But at least it's not like Civil War Generals 2 where you have to build each unit from scratch.
