updated to Grand strategy

Everything is fine. It is updated and ready to play. Problem is, I don't have it on the game. Why is that? Do I need to attach another file to it?

It downloaded just fine. Problem is. I still have the regular gold edition

Are you running the new shortcut on the desktop or in the start menu - look for Slitherine/Military History CEAW.

It's trying to locate a java file. I don't get it. I already have one

Do I need to eliminate everything on the hard drive in order for it to run?

All you need to do is

1) Uninstall GS as you've installed it to the wrong place
2) Install GS - make sure you install to the folder where you installed the original game. IUf you do not do this then you'llget the error you are reporting
3) Run the game from the new shortcuts that are created on the desktop or in the Slitherine/MH CEAW folder in teh start menu. You ran from the old shortcuts which just launch the basic game.
