Methinks both Dave and Graham are a tad jealous.

Dave due to our superior looks...

Graham due to our superior abilities with cubic devices...

You misunderstand: Hart has the personality, Jeske is the cult part.

"l" is pretty close to "n" on the keyboard...

either way, its obvious you've been effected by global warming.

Apparently you've been taking to burning plastics for heat and the fumes have effected your brain.

I think the Sicilian will really struggle. That is largely what dragged you down.

Of course, Mike, may play better with a poor army than with somebody worse with a better army.

I did stress these were based on army lists NOT players.

Yea, we debated this and truth be told we were not sure if he'd be playing in this period or I with E. Granadine...

Glad to see no one is playing what would have been my army (till now) but his configuration is a bit suspect, IMO.

But, we did playtest his list extensively against likely armies, i.e. Anglo-Irish, other Sicilians, E. Granadine, E. Russian, Komenan and he did well enough.

We'll have to see how he does with it.... IMO, he's the tiger in his period so that's a bonus. Let's just hope he is not a paper tiger!

Madcam.

Dave it took me a long time to develop this "poor" list not only to teach Madcam, but also to get under his skin each time I beat him...

Right. So this is a list that was solely designed to beat Jeske! I understand now why it is a bit dodgy :)

Absolutely. Its not even designed to be played with the rules called Field of Glory, but rather with the Ohio fantasy amendments.

Is there a list difference between mycenean and later mycenean?

I thought the lists were early and late.

I am glad to see that FoG has solved one of the percieved problems with DBM 3.n (too few varieties of armies are seen at competitions...)

To be fair to FoG, this tournament is a series of one-book events. Still, this set of R&Rs shows little imagination.

Marc

Makes sense. However, when I read that it was a two list tourney, I did not realise that meant that within each book players were only allowed to choose from two nominated lists... :)

A gross exaggeration I know but...

It's not a two list tourney!

I think a large part of the problem is with the lead that people own - people are using what they have. Assyrian and Egyptian were popular under DBM.

In any case, there are four different armies there, even though nobody took Urartian, which is probably the best army in the book!
