FoG:R Army List Books - Pictures needed

Post by nikgaukroger »

The guys at Slitherine & Osprey getting the list books together are short of pictures of wargames figures to illustrate the books and are looking for some help. Pictures, obviously, need to be of good paint jobs and the pictures need to be of high resolution.

Pictures are needed for:

Hungarian-Transylvanian – Ideally Hussars with bows or arquebus/carbine

Early Thirty Years War Swedish – ideally infantry with regimental cannon, but otherwise something obviously Swedish

Later Thirty Years War Swedish and Weimarian

Thirty Years War French

Early Louis XIV French

Thirty Years War Spanish

Confederate Irish

Spanish - early Italian Wars

Spanish/Imperialist - C16th

Portuguese - C16th

Early German Imperial - early C16th

German States - early/mid C16th

French Wars of Religion Huguenot

French Wars of Religion Catholic

If you think you have something that could be used please contact me at the email addy below ASAP and I'll put you in touch with the people involved. A sample picture or two would be useful :D

Hi Nik,

could you be more specific while talking about Spanish and Portuguese? For which period do you need them?

PS: I just read FoG: R, so I assume R of Renaissance

Ah, so not enough time to get the Irish confederates cast, painted and photographed. :)

I did contribute some pictures for Lost Scrolls, but I don't know if they got in the book.
