It was used at Britcon last year. Didn't do too well. But it did face the eventual winner in its first game.

The HaT 20 mm plastics are ok. I have not seen the Caesar Miniatures ones but their Libyans and Sea Peoples are very good so I would expect similar quality from the more recent Nubians.

I suspect that Magister Militum have some 15mm Nubians from the old Chariot range.

As for is it a good army.... I would have to say not for the faint of heart.

I used Early Libyan a while back with lots of MF bow and LF javelins but I had 2 BGs of impact foot and some chariots. The lack of chariots and impact factors for the close fighters is only partly compensated by the close fighters being superior.

I would not recommend an inexperienced player tries to use them. If you really want to use Nubians perhaps an Old Kingdom Egyptian army is a better bet.

Another good army from that time/region is IMO Kushite Egyptians.

IMHO by far the best are the black hat ones... Plenty of variety in their characterful poses

Old Glory makes a good figure in 15mm

Thought I had some pictures, but alas not... Still, great figure and paints up real quick.
