Scenario's copy not being valid to play. Help required!

Having noticed that when I copy a home made scenario and change its name in order to use it as a base for a new one it opens only in the scenario editor but doesn't seems valid to be played, I was wondering if there's a way to solve the problem.
Any help would be of great value becasue it could consistently shorten the time needed at the moment to build up a new scenario between the same armies.

To re-use a scenario file you need to go to the new game folder and open the .fogsg files with notepad (notepad2, a free download would be better) and edit the gn="..." attribute to the folder name for the scenario.
