Help painting Byzantine Turcopoles

Post by kingma15 »

Hi everyone,

I am looking at painting up some BGs of Byzantine Turcopoles for my Early Crusaders.

In what colour schemes should I do them - the same as my crusaders or something different? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ,

perhaps you could look at the Osprey book 89 on the Byzantine Armies , page 27 G , the trapezitos representation seems to be correct to do the Byzantine turcopoles ;

I don't know if they had any Uniform ;
anybody have more idea ?
