S.A. #3: Indian MF Bows/Swords 6 rolls?

Can someone explain why the Indian MF bows/swords, when uphill of enemy charging into them, why they get 6 combat rolls while the Greek MF spears or pikes get 4 rolls? What is causing the extra two rolls? Bow support? I couldn't find anything in the rules about bow support. No other units are adj. to give combat support.

Yes, it's bow support. Makes them a whole lot tougher on Impact.

Okay...but the rules in Help say bows get 5 attacks (the most recent version http://www.hexwar.com/field-of-glory/he ... anism.aspx )...I assumed that was the support...so how come 6?

6 attacks would be consistent with the TT rules assuming a two stand frontage. But it does seem inconsistent with the help. Maybe it's a 1.03 change and the help has not been updated?

A typo on the help pages! It is 6.
