Resignation

Post by dave_r »

Just played an enjoyable game, but near the end my opponent chucked it - he had lost 36/39 AP's and I had lost 20/28.

In my next turn I would have won - however because he resigned the game is shown as a draw?

Seems a bit dodgy to me....

He leaved the battle field, better known escaped!

You should be the winner!

This is one of the reasons games are not ranked yet in MP. We're working on solutions.

Fixed in 1.03?

As of 1.03, I'm now seeing resignations as a victory for the other player rather than as a draw. That seems far more appropriate.

Just had a resignation in 1.03, Starter Army 1, and it still shows as a draw.

Mind you, my opponent bugged out in turn 4, as Carthaginian, with a score of 1/28 to my 0/23

Perhaps the draw/win tag has something to do with the score line?

Nope. I just had an opponent resign from two games, one nearly over and one halfway over, and both came up draws.
