Just bought the game...

Post by noakesy »

As per the subject, I've just bought the game, and had a 10min game on the introductory scenarios, and enjoyed it. However (and I've seen this somewhere else now), erm, where's the rules manual or is it all on-line? I'd be interested in printing it off if it's just pdf? I did actually buy the miniatures rule book when it first came out but since then it has sat on the book shelf, are the rules exactly the same? :D
Cheers

It is available as html from the start menu or in game on the toolbar at the top.

Ok thanks Ian, if I get the book off the shelf is it the same rules (taking away the "how to..." section you would use for a pc game)?

It is an advantage to know the TableTop rules as the PC game is based on them (with some minor changes).

The combat mechanics are almost exactly the same so it gives a good feel for the tabletop and vice versa. There are differences in movement and the pahses of the game as we did not want to tie the PC design to the tabletop and hinder the gameplay.
