I guess players can make combind combat teams.
So integrating several archers units into one team, and disignating bow-master as commander or
putting cavalries and swordmen together, making swordsmen somekind of aconpanying infantries, and protect knights when they are
most vulnerable, the time when their intial charge fail to penetrate enemy lines.

I'm wondering if there are any magic-users and mounted archers, and somekind of logistic trains.

Duncan, I don't see it. What's the caption under the photo you're referring to?

I was talking about these guys. They don't seem too "human", but maybe they are some masked marauders or something.

Hi gents,

I dont't see any formation buttons at all. Will be unit formations in the game? I humbly think the formation system was one of the many good points of Legion Arena.

Mmmmhh...I'm not so sure about it, I don't recall Legion Arena having unit formations buttons in the battle screen, you chose formations in the previous deployment screen...I may be wrong about it, but looking at the LA screens, Arcane Legions has more or less the same number of buttons: pause, forward, retreat, the "horn", charge and all this. Maybe it would be a good idea to be able to change the formation settings in the battle screen, instead of having it fixed from the deployment screen for the entire battle.

EDIT: one difference I didn't notice is that the unit icons in Arcane Legions don't show the status and morale of the unit (routing and everything using arrows and colours codes....)

EDIT 2: my english is getting worse each and every day. I hope Miki will understand all this mess :(

There you go, just call me if you want to improve your online Legion Arena win ratio

Now I understand why i wasn't able to complete the campaigns on very hard setting

Anyway, where did the moral indicators go?

Meh, for the most part, aggresive formation was the best in any case.
