help for naval transport

Post by brivadois »

I don't understand the way my troops can board a ship. I've read the manual and yes, my troops are adjacent to a port when starting a turn. Do I need a special ship, is there a button for boarding ?
I am a newbie in war games, thanks for your help.

There is a button next to the button to board a train. Your unit changes into a ship until it unloads. You cannot board if you have moved, and you must be adjacent to a port and not adjacent to an enemy unit.

Actually you can board a transport when adjacent to a land unit as long as the port is completely surrounded by naval units (friendly or foe).
