Readability problem

This is not stractly realted to FoG, but I'm hoping for some advice from the tech wizards here:

Fired up my computer and everything was fine. Had some programs open (including FoG). I left the room and when I returned, something happened to the resolution on my monitor. I run at native (highest) but suddenly I couldn't make out any text and everything seems a little pixelated.

By lowering my resolution a few notches, I can now read text at least. I've got an NVidia card and updating the drivers did not help. Tweaking the card's controls and monitor controls didn't help either.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My other specs: Dell desktop with Windows XP, Intel 2.8 mhz processor, 2 gigs of ram, NVidia 6800 card.

If you run yopur display at its native resolution is there an issue and can if there is can you tell us what the screen resolution is.
