Draws in Multiplayer
It would help if a draw result could be made clearer in multiplayer (maybe the same applies to AI games). At present its a bit confusing.
In one example I got a victory message before the game turn ended, then the results screen appeared playing the funeral dirge (nice touch having different music for results btw) and no victory was attributed to either side and both sides were showing their break points equalling or exceeding their army score which I understand denotes a draw. In another one, same victory screen but no earlier victory announcement - maybe my opponent got that. To clarify things could we have a draw announcement on the victory screen. A nice added touch would be if it could have different music to a lost outcome.

Not for me. I have a similar problem which I've posted elsewhere, but it didn't ever say it was a draw. IIRC, all I got was the victory pop up at the end of the turn, and the victory summary screen, listing casualties etc, had a blank row where the result usually is.iainmcneil wrote:If the pop up was corrected to say draw woudl that fix all the problems?
Both really. The pop up changing to draw would avoid any confusion and a draw announcement on the victory screen would be helpful.Constans wrote:Not for me. I agree this could be tidied up - I have screen dumps of the last turn of a very close fought fight. Sadly I couldn't upload them.Ironclad wrote:Both really. I played Pompey. At the start of turn 10 I was to play Pompey was 46/53 and Ceasar 34/36
I was careful to make the attacks that were to my advantage first and Ceasar reached 37/36 and Pompey was at 50/53
Then made the obligatory attacks and Pompey went to 57/53.
However on completion - I got a the message "You are Victorious" but the results screen states differently "Ceasar Victory" and from the rules I expected a draw. Don't know what my opponent (Strebe) sees.
Was this a Ceasar Victory?
Should it be a draw?
How is it worked out?
Could this be tidied up?
That is a request by the way and in no way a complaint - I am thoroughly enjoying this game and my thanks to you at Slitherine and all the people I have now played from across the globe
