MEDIUM FOOT BOW ARMED BUG?

I would like to report what appears to be a bug with the medium foot bow armed units... Not sure if this was introduced by the patch or was always present, but I only noticed it when playing against the AI in starter scenario #3 vs the Indian army which has a lot of medium foot bow troops.
Basically, (and I played the scenario twice to be sure) the AI never once conducted missle combat with any of its medium foot bow armed units (nor with any of its bow armed heavy chariots)
I also made sure they had plenty of opportunities to do so and not even one missle attack.
Just to be clear I (the human player) could shoot no problems w med foot and Heavy chariots, it just seems that the AI doesnt recognize those units have the ability to do so.

Has anyone else notice this?

Yah in the Indian AAR I believe he says the Indians did not shoot ever during the entire game.
