Early English Hundred Years War add-ons?
I'm going to have some additional foot made for my English Early Hundred Years War line -- I have made the foot knights, longbow, foot command, and the Welsh infantry, but can have one or two other types of foot done too. Note these are Early, really made for Crecy, so they are 1346 technically.
So what would you like to see beside the building blocks? Gascon crossbows or brigans? Bidets? German Pauncenars? Something else?
This line will be out early 2010.

Khurasan, a few questions:I'm going to have some additional foot made for my English Early Hundred Years War line -- I have made the foot knights, longbow, foot command, and the Welsh infantry, but can have one or two other types of foot done too. Does this range include mounted knights and/or lesser men-at-arms?
Are the figures intended to be compatible with other ranges (i.e., Corvus Belli)?
What is the planned release schedule?
As far as additional figures go, I think generic spearmen and/or crossbowmen in mixed armor would be the most useful. Ideally the "spearmen" would be designed with the option of either cutting polearms or thrusting spears.

Delbruck, no the mounted will be a subsequent release, to go with the French. The line will be out early 2010 -- the foot knights are not only complete, they are cast and ready for sale! So are the welsh. I have the greens for three of the six longbowmen, and the other three, as well as foot command, will be with me in about two weeks.
I asked my sculptor to make them compatible with Corvus belli because so many people asked for that when I first mentioned it in summer. Truth is, though, my line is made for Crecy, and CB is the hounskull era, really more like 1360-1400 or so. I would not mix them, but that's just me. Also I cannot confirm if they are the same size as CB but my sculptor has told me they are.
And thanks for the suggestions! The CB and spearmen would be useful for the French release, though Crecy is a bit early for pavisiers and I may make brigans with swords, spears and axes instead.

true Olivier but those would be specifically for the French, as opposed to French crossbowmen, who could be used by an English armys so-called "false French" contingent.". I'm looking now for things to add onto the English. Perhaps I will skip that and just get the French started ....olivier wrote:Genoese crossbowmen are missing in many range specially sailors ones.
