Buying from Slitherine vs Matrix?

The subject pretty much says it all. Can I buy from the Slitherine store even though I am in the USA? The reason that I ask is, I was going to download today, but it seems the Matrix website has been hacked??? If so, is there any difference in the versions? I think that the excutable on Matrix's site is version 1.01?

Yes no problem - we sell all our games worldwide.

The only issue is for console games where there is region coding but this does not apply on PC.

I see that they are back up and running. Apparently it was a DNS problem?
