GS Scenarios

Post by rkr1958 »

I encourage folks to check out all of the GS scenarios (1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943 & 1944); especially the non-1939 ones. Borger, with input from a number of people, did a fantastic job pulling these together. If you want to jump right into things give the non-1939 scenarios a try. They're all balanced and fun to play for both sides. The 1944 scenario, which appears to be fairly well balanced, is a special case. It's a blast for the Allies but a death spiral for the Germans. It's amazing how quickly the Germans collapse; even though they have a equal chance of winning. I suggest playing the 1944 scenario using a "double blind" method where you play two games and each player plays different sides in those two games.

Ronnie, that double blind idea sounds great. You want to give it a go?

I would love too but I'll have to decline for now. I'm currently, playing three games (Paul, Jim and Ray) and will soon start a fourth (Borger). I've learned that I have to set my limit at four. Unlike adult beverages, which I set my limit at two. :D
