Heraclea, Although I ended up winning it was a real nailbiter with both armies hovering 1-2 points from defeat over the last 3 or 4 turns of the game.

Metaurus for me. Defend the river or charge across? Hang back, or try to flank. Lots of options and things to think about!

Mine is Sambre

I really enjoy Sambre 57 BC. No open fields in this one! You have to deal with the terrain and with the river in the middle and high ground on either side there are all kinds of options. Also I love the size of the armies - 88 units in all! I love epic level battles - always have. It is one of the advantages the PC has vs tabletop. I do not have to paint all those miniatures and spend all that money to play big battles like this - although I puy and paint them anywas - ha, ha!. There are so many options on this battle field and like I said before - it is a good change of pace from charging accross the open ground. :D

It's always rewarding to see people enjoy something you cooked up. Thanks guys! :D

I'll get back to making some more before long, just spreading my gaming around a bit at the moment. I recommend checking out the scenario builder if you haven't yet - nice and easy. I spent more time researching than building.
