Will not let me load it to my laptop

I purchesed this game online and downloaded it to my desktop just fine. I then tried to load it to my laptop and it said key expired can not activate. I hope this is an error because if I had bought the cd version I would not be posting here.

thanks for the reply. I noticed there was no serial number included. On my desktop it was downloaded somehow(I saw the message)
