2pak BGs...the Ultimate BG or Certain Doom??!!??

Post by Blathergut »

Okay, finally shifting back in time from LRRomans and Principate Romans to MRRomans and their 2 base triarii BGs. Dead.'s been running Companions in 2paks with usually good success but when something does go bad, it goes bad fast and big time!

How have the battling souls out there found 2 base battlegroups?

I suspect that the answer to your question is "both." Which doesn't help you very much, but there it is. Two base BGs are great for rear support, for working the flanks of an engaged enemy battle line, for army bulk, et cetera. On the other hand, they are absurdly vulnerable, even to lower quality enemies, if caught on their own.

ya..brittle....one casualty and poof...kinda makes the "needs to lose 2 bases for an elite 2pak to autobreak" redundant since it'll be gone for going down to one base :)
