Please help me find some old 15mm Essex Roman castings

Whilst restructuring my 15mm Mid Imperial Roman army units to fit in with the unit/BG sizes for FOG, I identified that I needed to buy some additional models to bolster my Lanciarii unit (Essex 15mm ref RO38) and mail armoured light heavy Auxiliary (Essex 15mm RO29). The ever helpful staff at Essex where duly contacted and replacement models dispatched. Sadly upon arrival I discovered that these models had now been recast and replaced with newer (smaller) models, none of which bear any resemblance to the stoic older Roman figures they apparently replaced. My pleas to Essex, whilst sympathetically listened to, were impossible to fulfill as the old castings had been binned.

The point I have been getting to is , do any of you Roman generals out there have any of these older model types lying unpainted and unwanted in storage boxes. If so, I am willing to buy them off you.

'Why don’t you just replace these units with newer models I hear you cry!' Well for one I don’t even like their replacements (Sorry Essex) and as I already have painted figures/units I simply don't want to start all over again.

Can anyone out there help?

Thanks for the response guys. Now have all the Middle Imperial Lanciarri I require. Still on the look out for the early Imperial armoured advancing auxiliary though (LH base in picture).
