Just a heads up for list contributors.
We need all draft lists for
FOGR1: Wars of Religion - basically TYW & ECW
in by 15/11/09 at the latest to give us time to discuss and finalise them before our final deadline for the finished book (23/12/09).
However, sooner would be better.

I estimate I should have most of my stuff done before Roll Call (i.e. German Catholic 1618-1631 & 1632-1648, German Protestant 1618-1648, Danish 1611-1645). I do wonder a bit if it may have been a better idea to make the catholics one list and split the protestants instead, I will see about that.
Middle Dutch 1609-1648 was either Nik and/or me with none of us feeling particularly certain about it IIRC, so who does start the list and who is going to take it apart, Nik?
As stated while I'm somewhat curious and interested about the Transylvanian 1618-1629 I've little to go on so far (and having seperated from my Hungarian-German translator a while ago is not making it easier). Getting that one done before mid Nov. will be difficult to say the least. If anyone else feels like tackling that one, feel free.

Feel free to adapt the suggested dates, etc. to what makes the best sense to you. I don't expect the published lists to necessarily rigidly follow the initial ideas. However, we need to end up with about the same number of lists in each book as the original scheme Charles came up with as that is what Slitherine and Osprey are planning on.Ghaznavid wrote:I estimate I should have most of my stuff done before Roll Call (i.e. German Catholic 1618-1631 & 1632-1648, German Protestant 1618-1648, Danish 1611-1645). So if it makes sense to have 2 Proddy lists please go ahead.
I'm wondering if one of our Spanish friends would step up for this - after all the Dutch spent a long time fighting the Spanish so there may well be Spanish sources
