AI problems also apply to NPC City States?

Post by lordhoff »

I can see that locust destruction applies to all but I have seen no evidence that expanding cults do. Do other random events apply to NPCCSs such as burning wood supplies, etc? Not really sure how much affect that has anyway - never really noticed a difference in my wood supply (don't pay that close of attention to the accumulated totals).

Also, should diplomats be visiting me? There is a place for their images but none ever arrive. If they do, does one get extra gold (like the silver in Spartan)?

See, you let Matrix republish older games and you have to start brushing away the cobwebs :)

I think events effect everyone but to be sure you would have to read through the events.txt file to see what it says. On diplomats - they should visit you as you woudl never get the chance to cut them up and boil them which is so much fun :)

Must have forgot to use deodorant or something. I've played most every city state of the Mesopotamia map and only once did anyone show up - every single city state sent one that time.
