Division A
Stones1985 (Seleucid/Parthian) drew with Karvon (Sarmatian/Skythian). A hard fought game with the score finishing 42 to 41, slightly in my favour.

Triarii Roman 199BC-106BC with Spanish (Iberian)
defeats
random27 hebrew 681-586BC+ egyptian 664 score 40-7
A tale of two hills - The Hebrew right was drawn of its hill into an uphill struggle against the Roman left as the better veteran Hastati started making progress against the Hebrew left.
Triarii Roman 199BC-106BC with Spanish (Iberian)
defeats
snooky51 Pyrrhic 280-275 w/ samnite score 65-41
A very tough game Romans massed scutari and light troops against hills on Pyrrhic right and early success was set back by dead Generals and poor light troop evades. Fortunately for the Romans their right had enough veteran Hastati and Triarii to hold the Pyrrhic phalanxes until a combination of flanking and poor RNG confounded them. Very much in the balance until the phalanxes broke.
Triarii Roman 199BC-106BC with Spanish (Iberian)
defeats
Stew101 Spanish (Sertorius) 80 - 70 BC score 64-37
Another tough slog - the Romans pivoted on a hill and large area of rough ground on their right to try to avoid Spanish flanking and fortunately had their Veteran troops opposite the few Spanish quality troops. The Roman advance was nearly upset by the failure of several velites to evade more than one square but eventually the better quality of foot aided by cavalry and an elephant on the Roman left ground the Spanish down.

Division A
Aetius (Macedonians) defeats random27 (Hebrews) 48-19
There was a lot of maneuvering but when the lines clashed the Hebrew front line was no match for the Pikes. Their cavalry and support nipped at the Macedonian flanks but couldn't do enough damage before the center broke and routed. GG!

Division A
Aetius (Macedonians) defeats snooky51 (Pyrrhics) 44-17
Some early fumbles and setbacks by the Macedonian veteran pikes were offset by the rest of the army, which slowly wore down the Greeks, along with their pikes overall breaking faster than the Macedonian ones. GG!

Division A
Aetius (Macedonians) defeats Karvon (Sarmations) 57-30
The Sarmatians had bad luck being on a constricted field with a lot of forest, but they made the best of it and used their lights to damage and break many Macedonian units. Nevertheless, their cavalry were slowly shot at, surrounded, and broke until the army routed. GG!

Re: TDC X Classical - Results
Division B
Ironclad Gallic 300-101 BC with Samnite allies defeated SgtOgre Carthaginian (Hannibal in Italy) with Bruttian allies, 60-41
An impassible river ran north to south reducing the field by one third. Both armies comprising mainly infantry lined up next to the river, with the Carthaginians extending on their left flank up to and including a rough area held by their mediums. The opposing Gallic infantry line extended further than the enemy infantry line and this was complemented by their concentrated cavalry on the right which was countered by enemy lights in an area of rough and by enemy light cavalry on the open flank. The Carthaginians also had an elephant unit and cavalry in deep reserve as well as some detached light cavalry across the river.
As the Gauls advanced the enemy light cavaly on their left countered by beginning their flanking movement which was insufficiently met by the lone Gallic chariot unit, whilst the Carthaginian light cavalry across the river eventually crossed the waterway on the tracks to launch rear attacks. With the enemy elephant and cavalry moving up in support and the facing rough area it was clear that the Gallic cavalry had limited scope for manouvre. Therefore the main Gallic effort was focusing on its infantry attack particulary on the left led by a superior warband and additional infantry which were directed there as well as lights and cavalry to deal with the enemy light cavalry who had crossed the river. In contrast the centre and right of the Gallic infantry line, despite having more superior units had a more difficult task facing the Veteran African spearmen and supporting units and the mediums including some veterans in the rough. The developing Gallic assault and the enemy counter attack on its left led by its elephant unit is shown below.
With the enemy right collapsing, Gallic units were able to concentrate their attacks from different directions against the enemy centre which was eventually overcome. Thanks to SgtOgre for a tough and challenging match.
