Solemance with Egyptian defeated Maeglyr with Fatimid Egyptian 59-30

The Fatimid forces did well on their left pushing back some of the Egyptian chariots and outflanking the Egyptian infantry line but the Egyptians destroyed them on their left scattering their horsemen to the wind, The centre proved a tight contest between both sides but the Superior quality of the Egyptian infantry won out and they destroyed most of the Fatimid centre to win the day.

Rosedelio (Berber) defeats Chris Townsend (Carthaginian) 40-7

Thanks to massed archer support, the Berbers were able to win on their left flank before the Carthaginians could overwhelm the Berber right.

Our left wing was able to delay the mounted-elite of the Fatimid for a long enough time to allow our center, a mass of fierce warriors supported by archers, to sweep over the sparse positions of slaves and enemy archers.

The nobility on wagons waltzed between the ranks, choosing their prey with care.

The New Kingdom is still strong.

Rosedelio (Hittite) defeats Maeglyr (Ottomans) 60-33

The swarm of Hittite chariots and infantry were too much for the Ottoman lights to handle

A deep stream enabled the Ottomans to halt the Hittite chariot division and gradually destroy them with their arrows, despite valiant attempts to cross it, whilst Ottomans cavalry flanked them by crossing the stream and threatening their flank as well. The Ottomans will never forget the sight of thousands of chariots emerging on the horizon!

The Ottomans took up defensive positions with fortifications along the stream, where they also concentrated their artillery; however, upon seeing the Hittites’ manoeuvrability, they decided to move out into the open. Although the Janissaries elite units, supported by their artillery, performed well at first, the Hittites, with their combined forces of chariots and infantry, first routed the enemy cavalry and then decided the battle with their multiple attacks.

Solemnace with Carthiginians defeated Ulysisgrunt with Berbers 42-13

The Berbers brought a mass of cavalry with limited infantry support holding the rear to face a large force of Carthiginian infantry with cavalry support on the flanks. The Berber horsemen proved somehwat tricky for the Punics to pin down but once they were they proved vulnerable to the discipline of the Carthiginian infantry who overwhelmed the Berber cavalry and infantry they faced.

Rosedelio (Syro-Canaanites) defeats Solemnace (Crusaders) 42-12

The swarm of light chariots managed to charge and flank the Crusader spears and crossbows while the infantry held off the knights in the river and marsh.

Solemnace's Trojans defeat Rockmanbob123's Genoese 61-35

The Genoese Knights stacked up on their left smashed through the Trojan lines opposite them and then swung roundto break up most of the Trojan right but the Genoese Centre and left where all but destroyed by the more numerous Trojan infantry who were able to outmaneuver and overwhelm the Genoese infantry.

Mayhem in Anatolia
Rightly expecting a profusion of chariots, the Ottomans deployed a strong line of infantry, led by the courageous Janissaries. Two small cavalry wings and a curtain of skirmishes complete the picture.

On the other side, the Hittites formed mixed chariot/infantry contingents to try to limit the risks of a chain reaction. The left wing, under cover of a forest, took care to eliminate the opposing cavalry and take in reverse the truly-effective Janissaries.

We were not far from a failure, the janissaries creating quite a hole in our ranks. Fortunately, as is often the case, numerical superiority ends up winning.

Rosedelio (Egyptians) defeats Jtrillodmp (Fatimids) 41-13

All the rough ground and enclosures allowed the Egyptian infantry to charge the Fatimid infantry while the Egyptian chariots and archers provided ranged support.

Rosedelio (Trojan) defeats ulysisgrunt (Genoese) 51-25

Thanks to the bits of rough ground, the Trojan spears were able to hold on long enough for the chariots to flank the Genoese infantry and crossbows.

Rosedelio (Carthaginian) defeats Chris Townsend (Berber) 51-20

The Carthaginians pushed their right flank to assault the Berber defensive position. With elephants clearing out the men-at-arms, the Carthaginian cav and infantry were able to slowly flank the Berber spears.

Solemnace's Papal defeats Jtrillodpm's Romans 52-22.

The Pope emptied his treasury to hire as many Mounted Mercenary Men At Arms as he could afford to face the Roman legions opposing him. The romans were quick to realise that they couldn't hope to fight on open ground and shifted to a hill on their right flank to form a ring of defences to try and hold back the Papal Mercenaries. Several isolated Roman units were left out unable to reach the perimiter in time but the Romans were able to outflank the left edge of the Papal forces to break several Papal units before Papal reinforcements arrived to stem the bleeding. While the hill gave the Roman the advantage they had little means of fighting the many mounted Knightly Lancers they were facing and once their cavalry flanking effort was containted there was little they could do to stop the Papal forces slwoly peeling their defences away breaking them down until they fell to pieces.

Rosedelio (Crusader) defeats Solemnace (Syro-Canaanite) 66-48

The plentiful Syro-Canaanite superior bow chariots proved to be difficult for the Crusader crossbows to deal with, not helped by routers rallying back. However, as the battle dragged on, the Crusader numbers helped with shooting down the chariots.

Solemnace's Hafsid Berbers defeated Ulysisgrunt's Carthaginians 63-55

An absolute bloodbath for both sides. The Berbers broke up much of the Punic cavalry on the Berber Left with the aid of camels and then turned their best infantry to march across the battlefield to face the Punic left which survived the grinding battle better than the Punic and Berber centers which were both more or less destroyed. By the end the depleted Carthaginian units were collapsing from lack of men and being harrassed by Berber light foot and horse ran out of steam and broke as a final clash between the two sides was unfolding.

Despite an early lead with crossbows shooting down the Trojan chariots, there were simply to many to deal with. Only by engaging with the Trojan infantry did the Genoese have enough to win in the end.
