Well, my experience is limited strictly to GPT; ask your AI the right questions and proceed step by step. I imagine other AI models could handle such tasks too—perhaps even better, who knows? If you happen to find one that supports this kind of work, it would be great if you shared that information.

So, we’ll wrap up our report from Africa, where a battle is raging between ISIL terrorists and the NATO coalition ))) Looks like I’ll have to replay it again, even though I’ve always won triumphantly so far, but those bloody savages sometimes destroy my beloved, fully upgraded tank with its veteran crew ))) As usual, everything else is in the screenshots and the replay )

Spring Wind – in the original game, I could never hold off the Germans and Italians on this map ) But here it’s a breeze! My French forces held their ground valiantly at the ‘bottleneck’ until my artillery arrived. In the end, all the advancing ISIL forces were routed, and the lost territories were recaptured! Onwards we go.

There’s a Belarusian flag in one spot in the city (see the screenshots); I reckon it’s out of place in Africa – unless, of course, Lukashenko’s regime is supplying ISIL with new Belarusian military technology.

I definitely like this modernised version of the game! At first, the ISIL fighters, advancing in droves, gave my Yanks a bit of a beating, but in the end my coalition wiped them all out and reclaimed the lost territories!

Good catch. 😄

No, Lukashenko has not secretly joined the campaign.

The Belarusian flag is simply a leftover from the conversion and clearly does not belong there. I’ll make sure to include things like this in my checks before future campaigns are released.

In the Ukraine campaign, for example, Sol once placed German Gepard units and US artillery, arguing that these weapon systems are actually used by the Ukrainian armed forces. The Belarusian flag here, on the other hand, is definitely just a mistake.

Thanks for spotting it.

Judging by the translation of the missions, they promise to give you a BRDM every time, but they never actually do ))) Anyway, I repelled the ISIS offensive on the next map and captured their headquarters!

And Sol is right, I suppose – he’s just analysing information from the news! In Ukraine, they’ve been using a lot of old NATO equipment for a long time now, kindly provided by various countries and sponsors! Even the US has sent 36 Abrams tanks, plus Leopards from Germany and plenty more from other European countries ) That’s probably why he’s drawing such conclusions about the Cheetahs....

Now I need to hurry up and build some depots before ISIS gets in my way ) To be continued

Okay, I’ve noted down the missing unit. Just a quick note on that: while I am logging the errors you listed, I won’t be fixing them—I’m simply trying to avoid them in the next project. However, if the campaign were to become unplayable as a result, I would of course try to correct the error manually and quickly. Right now, I’m teaching Sol how to visually enhance the maps using overlays; that’s going to keep me busy for a while.

OK, I’ll sort out all the fixes later – just bear them in mind for now; there’s nothing critical, so I can carry on. I was given a T-72 trophy tank, but it didn’t carry over to the next map. Was that a one-off promotion to boost stats only on the map with the depots?

Very interesting. Any chance that you will try to generate something non-modern? It would be interesting to see if your approach can generate a WW1-era scenario with the PzC engine

Yes and no. 😄

World War I is not really a period I am personally very interested in, so it would probably not become a major project for me.

That said, I could certainly imagine trying my hand at some WW1 content at some point, simply out of curiosity and to see whether this approach would work there as well. But before doing that, I would first need to seriously study the history of that period and understand the kind of warfare involved.

The main question is whether there is a suitable WW1 mod available for Panzer Corps. I vaguely remember reading about one some time ago, but I honestly can’t remember where it was or whether the project is still active.

As for non-modern content in general: yes, definitely. World War II material using content from the PaK Mod is actually next on my list, so I certainly do not intend to stay exclusively with modern scenarios.
Looks like we’ve already got the Red Baron finished. Haha! 😄

Sorry Tobi, for an off topic reply.
If my PG project goes as planned, it will allow to play K.U.K General or any custom campaign build.

No problem, Niko, that’s interesting information. So you’ve already made more progress with this subject than I have.

Is the functionality of your project meant to work somewhat like Panzer Corps 2? There is a scenario editor there as well. I only tested it briefly once to see how it works, so I’m not really familiar with it in detail.

Lately, I’ve started to lose interest in the Second World War, probably because I’ve grown a bit tired of the subject – ever since I was a very young child, I’ve loved reading war books, watching war films and then playing war games set during the Second World War. As a result, a new game, film or book on this subject comes out every week! So I suppose I’m more interested in modern conflicts after 1945 or the interwar military conflicts between the two world wars. The First World War itself was fast-paced only at the start; then everyone dug themselves into deep trenches and it turned into a routine bloodbath. Over a couple of kilometres, it even came to tunnelling and underground explosions, as well as the use of poison gas and flamethrowers. But it was precisely this war that spurred progress in aviation and the development of tanks, as machine guns and artillery rendered the manoeuvrability of cavalry and infantry useless.) What’s more, there’s a mod for this game! But I prefer the game *Commander: The Great War* as it’s very similar to our favourite *Panzer Corps*.)

I am still covering the basics atm. I only made a few changes to unit behavior for both the player and AI.

These tanks even saw action in World War II—during the defense of Tallinn in 1941 and the defense of Berlin in 1945!

A fine male—where's his female with the machine guns? )))

And this wonderful project, which features chapters and is set during the First World War, is the ‘Second Reich’ mod by a fairly well-known and talented modder Sonja89_1 ! She is a very talented woman and a fan of our favourite game!

And so, I’ve lost for the first time in this game! I underestimated the enemies’ resilience and their numbers, whilst also failing to factor in the move limit, and chose the wrong strategy and tactics. And on top of that, I made the wrong decision about purchasing the elite core. I’ll have to play it again!

Image Image Image Image

It went a bit better this time, but the result was just a ‘Victory’ ) I’d have liked it to be a ‘Triumph’, though ) It’s brilliant that you gave me the trophy T-72 as an extra bonus – it’s now travelling with me )))

In the end, I achieved a triumphant victory on this map by wiping out all the ISIL infantry units within the move limit and capturing the entire city myself. Let’s keep moving forward! I’m really enjoying this story of the war against the terrorists.

Sol and I are currently working on a map generator. If it works well and has been thoroughly tested, the next step will be a scenario generator, similar in principle to the one in Panzer Corps 2: after entering a number of selected parameters, it should automatically create a complete, playable scenario.

For now, however, our focus is on the map generator. One of the planned features is the ability to upload screenshots from map services andto have them converted into maps that can be further edited.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything works the way we hope. But as you can probably imagine, this will take some time.

All in all, it’s brilliant – I wish there were more adaptations like this! As always, you can find more details in the screenshots and replays! Thanks to our masters, Toby and his AI son )

Hooray, I’m really happy! The foundation for a working map generator has now been laid.

Version 0.1.2 is up and running, and I was able to use my map generator to create a random continental map in just a few simple steps. The actual generation took only a few seconds.

I then launched the generated map in Modern Conflicts, and I have to say, the result already looks very promising.

From this point, I could simply load the map into the editor, place my units, define parameters such as the date, participating nations and victory conditions — and I would already have the basis for a fully playable scenario.

More workflows, features and tests will follow. One of my next major areas of focus will also be the generation of maps based on map screenshots and similar source material.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but the most important step has been achieved: the basic map-generation process is working.
