The Mongols were able to mass their horse archers to the weaker Aragonese right flank while the stream protected the infantry in the center.

With pressure from the trebuchet, the Mongols forced the Bohemians to come off their hill and attack the Mongol hill. Then the Mongols were able to shoot down the Bohemian cav and charge their massed bowmen while mitigating the damage from the Bohemian dismounted knights.

Score 44-18

A big hill with scattered rough ground on top and a steep shoulder on the Bohemian right dominated it all.
The Bohemians were able to go straight up the hill on their left and post a weaker group of spearmen on the steep shoulder of the hill on their right. As the Bohemian left was all their dismounted Knights and XB with their mounted missile troops round the flank they over matched the German spearmen and archers on the hill top despite the patches of rough going. This was done before the stronger German left was able to reach and swing up and over the steep shoulder and Bohemian spearmen.

While the terrifying Varangians chewed their way through the Portuguese infantry the Portuguese Knights battled with the Crusader mounted knights. The Portuguese knights finally prevailed and fell upon the rear ranks of the Byzantines. A very bloody affair in which the Portuguese infantry covered themselves in glory dying as slowly as possible to delay the Varangians long enough for the cavalry to make a difference.

The Bohemian Holy Knights had clearly had a rough night before the battle. Charged in with great optimism and promptly got disrupted and watched their general die. It all went wrong for the plucky Bohemians and even the ambush from the marsh went wrong as the Portuguese had cavalry to spare to deal with it as it appeared all the Bohemians had missed their prayers and were fighting very poorly.
