Do quicker victories provide more post-battle points?

Post by smartadze »

Hi
do quicker victories provide more post-battle points?

In a custom campaign battle - given equal victory % and number of casualties - does the speed of a victory provide more reinforcement points or other benefits? Other benefits might be accelerated morale of units (e.g., an Average unit becomes an Above Average), larger man counts per unit, etc.

Example: Two identical battles, with identical maps, identical forces. Both battles won with identical 45% margin and X-Y% casualties (friendly and enemy). BUT Battle 1 victory achieved in 8 turns versus Battle 2 victory in 20 turns.

Does the amount of reinforcement points look the same after both battles?

Thanks. Still playing :-)

I don't think any information about that has been released. Generally, I don't think the spread of victory has any impact on reinforcements in the next battle. Units do improve between battles, but again I haven't seen any specific information on whether their performance or the battle result impacts the chances of upgrade.

As far as I understand the only thing that influeces upcoming battles is whether the player suffered more than ~15% casualties with higher casualties reducing the future force points.
