Panzer Corps 2 Ubuntu Linux Wine - How to fix extremely slow game & Visual C+ issues

Dear "Panzer Corps 2" Community,
I recently found solutions to 2x primary issues I kept facing.

1. the game is extremely slow from the start
the fixes for my system were:
-NVidia Driver version 580.159.03 (595.71.05 to be tested)
-Wine version 11.0
(using "Proton Cachyos 11.0" in "Lutris 0.5.22")

all previous versions of Wine, Proton, Lutris I simply could not play because frame rates dropped to approx. 8fps the moment the game hit the menu.

PS:
I upgraded from these previous versions:
-"Lutris 0.5.18"
-Wine 10
-NVidia 575.64.03 drivers

2.the base game works but with DLCs installed it throws a "missing Visual C++" error
This applied even if I installed the latest "vcredist64/32.exe".
In the end I found out that you need to “Run EXE inside Wine prefix”
AND SELECT the "VC_redist64.exe" supplied by the game.
This is located inside your "wine prefix" "c_drive".
e.g.
“/home/knubbel/Games/panzer-corps-2/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Slitherine/Panzer Corps 2/redist/”
Please beware that the path depends on your "Wine Prefix" location and will be different on your computer.
