Field of glory V3 rules question

Post by Bobsebotka05 »

Hi,
Got a question about shooting POA in Field of Glory V3 if someone could help. So here goes, On the list of Shooting POA's the first line reads unprotected cavalry unless entirely 1 base deep, + if shooting with longbow, bow, crossbow, Javelins or sling. Now this is were we are quering, so my light foot 6 baese was throwing Javelins at Light horse 4 bases, but in double line. So is was claiming POA as unprotected not in single line. But my opponent said that's cavalry not light horse. So could someone please clarify, as light horse isn't covered on the shooting POA's technically. So please help 🙏 regards Bob

You've posted this into an incredibly old forum about a TV show from 2009. I assume you didn't mean to :)

I'll move it into the FoG V3 forum, if I can.

Cheers

Pip

There is no shooting POA against Light Horse or Light foot for those. That POA is only for unprotected cavalry.
It assumes Cavalry more than one base deep present a massed target, but cavalry one base deep are in an open formation, skirmishing, and light horse are always in an open formation

putting the arg into argumentative, except for the lists I check where there is no argument!
