I’m really liking this Turkish company so far! I’ve forgotten to switch to Russian! As always, you can see more details in the screenshots and replays )

Well, it’s better not to play so aggressively—that way my losses in Turkey aren’t so bad—but sometimes I just don’t have the patience to sit back and defend )))

@Bond, thanks for your posts about the campaign. You can try any tactic you like, though some approaches will naturally be more costly than others. On Normal difficulty, prestige should generally be sufficient, but on the higher difficulty levels it requires much more careful management.
I also forgot to mention that, as has become tradition, the campaigns are available in English, French, German, and Russian.
The bonus unit, the “Imperial 76 mm Artillery Gun,” will eventually be upgradeable to a 107 mm gun.

You’re always welcome, Nico! This is a brilliant campaign that I’m playing with great interest and enjoyment! Having quelled the local unrest, I’m getting drawn into epic battles with the Greeks ) They’ve got air support, but I’m taking out their airfields ))) It’s a really interesting campaign – as always, you can find more details in the replay and screenshots!

Unfortunately, some guns don’t have a photo in the shopping section, but I hope you’ll sort this out soon.

Unfortunately, I lost my Russian artillery in one of the battles, but I’m often given Red Cavalry as reinforcements.

P.S. And a huge thank you and much respect for the fact that your mods and the company are in Russian, so I don’t have to keep checking a translator every five minutes!!!

Blimey! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

(though, being the greedy person that I am, I am hoping for Phase 4, 1943 scenarios :))

I will take the DR demo for a spin in the meantime.

I'm almost finished playing Eagles in the sand and I'm really enjoying it. I'd like to play your Italy Corps-Afrika Korps but your download link doesn't work. Any chance that you'll make it function again?
Thanks.

I played the first scenario in the DR campaign. I bought one PzII with the extra slot. Quite a tough little battle if you are not careful, as the Polish cavalry are very nasty for your fragile early war units. I am careful, but in this campaign you also need to be fast since the turn limit (16) is tight. I won with a turn to spare, but it's tight.

I like the fact that you need to depend on Wehrmacht auxiliaries and that you don't get any core planes. Makes you approach core building differently.

I was slightly surprised that there was only one battle in Poland, but I admit that I am not super familiar with the specific details of the various Waffen SS campaigns outside the Eastern (Soviet) Front. Perhaps there was only the one battle IRL.

For the Ardennes I got awarded a strength 12 SE captured B1 which will come very handy. Some tough core building decisions need to be made. I don't like to buy over the core slot limit (I want to bring everyone along in terms of experience) but I also like to have a lot of artillery and the core has no organic artillery in Poland. So, I will probably leave some infantry behind in this battle and hope that the core slots increase with the developing battle.

It's nice to be playing a WW2 themed scenario again. All your other stuff is great, but the PzC system is really at its best with the WW2 combined armies.

Finished Ardennes. Yes, the two 15 cm, 3-range, howitzers were absolutely necessary. Won on the last round, but could have rushed harder and got in with a turn to spare. I just don't like to have casualties if I can avoid it, especially of overstrength points.

Prestige is very plentiful, so min-maxing the core is very doable. I would probably reduce the victory awards by a tiny bit, since there are so many objectives to give you prestige inside the scenario (so far, I mean). In this case I could buy an extra tank and upgrade the recon (see below) plus get most of my infantry on halftracks, which is a bit too rich for Germany 1940.

Next scenario I got an extra Pz-III to go together with the upgraded Pz-IV from the first scenario purchase and the B1 gift. That will leave another infantry on the bench, but this is a running scenario and I want the mobility. I upgraded the motorcycle to a 231 armoured car (I prefer it to the 232 8rad)

I need to add in case you have forgotten: I always test with Normal-Normal difficulty (i.e. no bonus to anyone).

I started the next scenario. The French for some reason are attacking rather than defending which makes them sitting ducks in their silly lorries. I don't know if this is a function of level 2 AI that is always my default in PzC. As I remember it was rather more aggressive than level 1. Or it may be the presence of the German objective flag that attracts them. You are the mod expert, I don't know whether there is a way to keep them in their defensive positions.

I need to go to bed now, and tomorrow is a busy day, so I don't know when/if I find the time to continue. Great fun so far. Thanks for your work, as always.
