howdy!

it's really good of you guys to give peeps a heads up on the one week delay. i've been concerned that since we're getting NO news in how the game is progressing (in terms of screenshots or movies or etc) that we would be left in the dark about changes in the schedule but good on you guys for being johnny on the spot with the really crucial info.

was counting the days to the 30th but i'm far more glad that we know there's a delay instead of just twiddling our fingers.

thanks much and this pre-order dude is continuing wait mode.

Why so surprised? Surely you are aware how reasonable and patient we gamers are.

so one week left!

question:

aside from getting the table top rules, is there any reference or website that talks about tactics and armies and units so that i can get the most out of the game and/or really hit the ground running?

preface: i'm kind of a newb table top war gamer and familiar with a few rule sets and periods even though i haven't actually had a chance to field any armies on the felt yet (and hence, why i'm so excited for FOG PC!!!).

slitheine has a forum for FOG the table top game if you want to see what others have to say about the miniatures version of the game. The PC game is a little different but it might give you some ideas about armies etc.
