Aetius (Egyptians) defeats Stones1985 (Assyrians) 50-25


Initially the Assyrian archers did a bit of a job on the approaching Egyptians, but then things evened out when the Egyptian front line broke through the Assyrian right. At the same time, though, the Assyrians put massive pressure on the Egyptian right; eventually their cavalry was held off enough while the Egyptian front line troops finished routing them, although at a high price. GG!

The Philistines hit the Egyptian right hard, and started cracking it, but not before their right fell to a combination of arrows, infantry, and light chariots. GG!

Aetius (Egyptians) defeats IMC (Assyrians) 63-33


This was not an easy battle for the Egyptians, as the Assyrians had a decent amount of heavy chariots and perched a lot of their archers on a hill. Also having archers, the Egyptians moved up and softened up the Assyrian archers, while their better infantry attacked the hill. At the same time, some infantry and archers kept the heavy chariots at bay with the help of some rough ground. It took a while, but ultimately the hill fell and the Assyrians routed, but not before heavily damaging the Egyptians. GG!
