d'Artagnan, RL King's musketeer and character in novels, died during the siege of Maastricht in 1673 at the age of 60, most likely with a musket shot in his head, while he was leading the charge in a narrow passage. He was buried in a unkown place, his body never found since. But a few weeeks ago...
