Thank you very much, I’m happy to hear that. Next year I plan to modify GC40 and—if time allows—also GC41, just like I did with GC39. But I can’t set a date yet. I usually work on things like that in between whenever I find the time.

I can't say for sure at the moment, but I'll check every GC39 scenario in the editor with version 3.40 beforehand to see if there are any conflicts before I start editing GC40.Please let us know if you encounter any problems while playing. I don't think so, but thinking doesn't mean knowing.

I played your reworked GC39 campaign with 3.40 and didn't encounter any issues. I might have overlooked a thing or two, though, so don't take my word for it.

The campaign begins with a daring raid on Butaritari in August 1942, where US Marines strike Japanese positions in the Central Pacific for the first time. The objective is to test enemy defenses and capture an officer alive to obtain valuable intelligence. The hazardous withdrawal under enemy pressure reveals how dangerous even limited island operations can be. One year later, Operation Galvanic launches as a major offensive against the Gilbert Islands. The landing on Betio in the Tarawa Atoll becomes a turning point in the Central Pacific. Heavily fortified beaches, coral reefs, and determined defenders turn the assault into a brutal fight for every yard of sand. The Marines must secure beachheads, break bunker lines, and repel night counterattacks. Step by step, they advance across the airfield and crush the final resistance. With the fall of Betio, the road to the Marshall Islands is opened. The campaign illustrates the bloody cost of island hopping and the beginning of the American advance toward Japan.The campaign consists of 6 missions.
