Thank you very much. Yes, these new factions and their units offer even more possibilities for developing scenarios or campaigns.

Thank you so much for opening up the possibility of playing in the ancient era. I hope the spies will be there too ;)

RomeCorps Update 0.4 is now available for download. This new version includes two additional scenarios: the Battle of Lake Regillus (258 AUC) and the Battle of Hysiai (85 AUC), playable on both sides. More scenarios will follow shortly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Battle of Hysiai (85 AUC / 669 BC)

The Battle of Hysiai took place in 85 AUC in the border region between Argos and Laconia. The hoplite armies of Sparta and Argos clashed as rival powers competing for dominance in the Peloponnese. Argos achieved victory and strengthened its position as a leading military force in the region. For Sparta, the defeat marked a setback during its early expansion. However, little is known about the specific commanders or the detailed course of the battle. Contemporary records are lacking, and later historians preserved only brief references to the event.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Battle of Lake Regillus (258 AUC / 496 BC)

The Battle of Lake Regillus took place in 258 AUC in the region southeast of Rome. The young Roman Republic faced the Latin League, supported by the exiled king Lucius Tarquinius Superbus. The Roman army was commanded by the dictator Aulus Postumius Albus Regillensis. Rome achieved victory and thereby secured the Republic against attempts to restore the monarchy. The outcome strengthened Roman dominance in Latium. However, many details remain uncertain, as the accounts were written centuries later and include legendary elements.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Designing the individual scenarios is still a learning process for me; I'm trying to make the next ones a little different, perhaps with small missions that the AI can also complete. That's not so easy, since I want to make each scenario playable for both sides.

And so I completed the first scenario map for both sides. Overall, it was great, as usual, as shown in the screenshot and replay.

So, I'm waiting for new maps and chapters, but in the meantime, I'll play for the Japanese. It's time to get back to the gunpowder.

I've noticed that you like to deploy your leaders or kings on the front lines. This gave me the idea to make such battles a bit more challenging. In the future, losing your leader will have consequences, such as a loss of strength points for all your units. This is intended to simulate a retreat and the resulting morale loss. I like the replays.

Well, we don't hide behind the backs of our mates ))) But losing an important leader would be a great motivation to protect them! And those are excellent scenarios, my friend )

There are just Asians in the photo, and judging by the image, it's a banzai attack.

If you have the replay of the Battle of Lake Regillus from the Roman side, could you please post it again? It seems to be missing, or I can't find it; I can only find the replay of the Latin League. Thanks.
