Version 1.17.01 crept up on me

I've been playing 1.16.03 for weeks, but I've just noticed by accident that the splash screen now says it's 1.17.01.
It's a Steam game but I don't remember seeing Steam automatically updating it over the past few days.
is there a list of changes somewhere that i can look at to see if there are any new features and stuff in 1.17.01?
