TDC IX Bronze and Early Iron Age - Challenges
Please post your challenges for TDC IX Later Medieval here. Divisions and armies are listed below. Each player plays every other player in their division once. Post your challenge and send a PM to your opponent, including the password you used. You may post multiple challenges in a single post.
Time Frame
The competition will run from Jan 11 to Apr 5.
To ensure adequate time to finish, you should post all challenges no later than the 1st of March
Requested Challenge format
Division 1
Tom's Early Crusaders challenges Bob's Tauregs
pw bob
pm sent
Game Settings
Open, Potluck, 24 turns, 40W x 32H maps, and 1400 points
We suggest setting your army as player B. That allows your opponent to accept the challenge and move to deployment immediately.
Slitherine Ranked Games
1. Players are NOT to unilaterally set up matches as Slitherine-ranked games.
2. If you wish to rank a game, first contact your opponent and see if they are interested in doing so.
3. If both players are in agreement, matches can be set up as Slitherine ranked games.
4. If a match has been set up as a ranked game unilaterally by your opponent, you are free to set up a new match unranked without this counting as your reroll. However, if you accept a ranked match and then decide you want to reset it, that will count as your reroll. It's very clear in the challenge screen that a match is ranked; there is a special icon, and the ELO ranking of the poster is plainly listed.
Rerolls
Either player may unilaterally require a reroll after viewing the map in the initial deployment phase. Each player is allowed one such reroll. If each player has used their permitted reroll, then both players may mutually agree to a third and final reroll. The player requiring the reroll should surrender the match. The player requiring the reroll should repost the challenge, making sure to set the parameters correctly in regards to lists, points, and map size. No rerolls are allowed after the first turn is played.
Restart
Players may mutually agree to abandon a game and restart until the 3rd turn for whatever reasons they might have. From the 4th turn, games must be played to conclusion. No rerolls are allowed in restarted games; you must play on whatever map is rolled.
If the challenge has been incorrectly set up, then the player who did not set up the game will have the choice to restart, but only by Turn 3. A game that has reached Turn 4 will become fixed and must be played to conclusion.
Responding to Challenges
IF PLAYER A HAS NOT ACCEPTED A CHALLENGE AFTER 2 WEEKS AND THE PERSON RUNNING THE PERIOD AND THEIR OPPONENT (PLAYER B) HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED, PLAYER B NEEDS TO CONTACT PLAYER A AND THE ORGANISER. THIS WILL ALLOW THE ORGANISER TO CONTACT PLAYER A AND TO DETERMINE IF PLAYER B CAN CLAIM THAT GAME AS A 40 - 15 OUTRIGHT VICTORY

TDC IX Bronze and Early Iron Age - Results
Coordinator: angusosborne
It is the winner's duty to report the results (or the higher scorer in a draw). However, the loser should also check to see that the match has been reported in a timely manner to ensure a score isn't lost.
Please report results in this format. Please use the results from the top left corner of the screen from the final turn. Do not use the scores from the final game summary screen, which show the losses suffered by type.
