Unable to start Fields of Glory 2 - ERROR

When attempting to start Field of Glory 2 I'm getting the following error message: "Failed to create devide for renderiing. Invalid resolution, or cannot run without at least shader model 3.0
(0)"
I had some issues with the game before but managed to start it in a windowed mode, with lower resolution. I've tried to instal DirectX for Windows 11 but the problem persists. Can you please help?
