Venetian Wars Tournament - extra challenge. Advice?

Hi Support,
Happy New Year and some feedback please. I also posted this in FoGII support.

I have a totally unexpected tournament game in my Field of Glory II inbox (FoGII not FoG Medieval).
It is a game vs raultow.
It is also Venetian (Colonial) vs Ottoman 1400-1500; so army lists which are FoG Medieval and not FoGII.

I had opened this game before noticing army lists and my FoGII crashed - I had to force end through Task Manager..
I am assuming it is a Tournament server error.
But two questions. Is there
a) any method for you to remove this game?
b) any means for me to avoid another big ranking loss like I have had from the recent FoGII error?

I do also have a new tournament game in my FoG Medieval inbox which seems correct and is same army lists.

Unfortunately the IT staff are on vacation and hence there has been no way to stop the bugged first version from proceeding.
